Rosilee Barker, PA-C

Rosilee Barker, PA-C grew up in many different states as her father served in the United States Air Force and her family moved many times. She was born at Hill Air Force Base in Utah and has also lived in Nebraska, Ohio, and Virginia. Her mother was a nurse and was able to help many people both during work and many neighbors and friends after work hours, which Rosilee saw as a desirable skill to be able to share. She went to undergraduate school at Utah State and Brigham Young University, receiving her B.S. degree in Psychology with a minor in Zoology. Fascinated with the human body and physiology and having a desire to help and work with people, she knew she wanted a career in the medical field. Having been treated by several Physician Assistants in military medical facilities growing up and learning more about that profession in a pre-medical class in college, she knew that was a perfect fit. She pursued medical experience where she could and became a trained phlebotomists and EMT. She attended medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center where she received her Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She has worked in Cardiology and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She knows American Sign Language, enjoys digital scrapbooking, spending time with family, hiking, and being outdoors. She and her husband built their first house together and she is not afraid of hard work. Rosilee and her husband and their 5 children recently moved from Phoenix, Arizona. She is very excited to be able to provide medical care now to the patients of Primary Healthcare!
